Don't Just Talk About Your App Idea, Build It

As a Mobile Developer, I hear this all the time:

“I have a great idea for a new mobile app. Want to help me build it?”

No. I don’t want to help you build it.

People always try to rope me into their "great app ideas." I don't care – and neither should you. Everyone has ideas, including me. What's rare is the effort it takes to make something real.

Ideas are a dime a dozen. They're a starting point, not a finished product. It's cool if you have a good idea, but that's meaningless without action.

So, if you really believe in your idea, stop pitching it and start building it. That's the only way to turn it into something worthwhile.
